Summary: Creation of the Parking to enhance the walkability of a weekend outdoor market
- Parking Plan – Work with the project team to create a parking scheme to allow for ease of unload and loading. In addition, the parking would allow vendors access to vehicles without impeding visitor’s access to the individual vendors.
- Project Communications – Employ multiple project marketing methods in order to obtain public response and comments regarding probable parking schemes.
- Public Workshops – Coordinated and facilitated public workshops. Create presentation and support materials including presentation material, handouts, comment sheets, invitations, press releases, required notification documents, etc.
Downtown Parking Reconfiguration, Pensacola Downtown Improvement Board: EPR was responsible for the development of concepts for reconfiguring parking on key downtown streets in Pensacola.
The parking schemes included lane reductions and introduction of back-in type parking to help better facilitate the weekend downtown market events.

Through our staff’s knowledge and background with local municipalities, EPR has a unique understanding of the: Florida TRIP program, Senate Bill 360 and the Fair Share Mitigation Act.
